AI & 언리얼엔진 기반 3D 애니메이션 기업 스튜디오이온(대표 강대일)은 지난 2025년 10월 13일부터 17일까지 아랍에미리트 두바이 월드 트레이드 센터에서 개최된 GITEX GLOBAL 2025에 참가해 글로벌 파트너들과의 협력관계를 공식화했다. 

GITEX GLOBAL은 중동 최대의 ICT 전시회로 이번 행사는 과학기술정보통신부와 정보통신산업진흥원이 K-디지털콘텐츠(Digital Contents) 공동관을 마련해 국내 유망 디지털 콘텐츠 기업 8개 사를 참가 지원했으며, 스튜디오이온도 그 일환으로 전시에 참여했다.

스튜디오이온은 이번 행사기간 동안 AI 기반 3D 센싱 전문 기업 딥인사이트(Deep In Sight)와 사우디아라비아의 콘텐츠 및 스타트업 투자 전문 기업 카탈라이즈(Katalyze)와 각각 전략적 MOU를 체결하며 MENA(중동 및 북아프리카) 지역 진출을 위한 발판을 마련했다.

이번 협약을 통해 스튜디오 이온은 딥인사이트와 함께 3D 공간 스캔 기술을 활용한 콘텐츠 공동 기획 및 실감형 콘텐츠를 비롯한 다양한 응용 콘텐츠 개발 등 기술협력을 추진하기로 합의했다. 또한 카탈라이즈와는 스튜디오이온의 현지 파트너로써 MENA 지역 투자 유치 및 진출을 위한 다양한 사업 영역에서 협력을 추진하기로 합의했다. 이 외에도 MENA 지역의 여러 광고 제작 회사, 게임 및 VR 콘텐츠 제작 기업, VC 등과의 미팅을 통해 협업 및 현지 진출 방안에 대해 폭넓게 협의했으며, 이로써 상담 총액은 약 2300만 달러에 달하는 성과를 거두었다.

스튜디오이온은 AI+Unreal 엔진 하이브리드 파이프라인 제작 기술을 활용하여 하이퍼 리얼리스틱한 콘텐츠를 제작하는 3D 애니메이션 기업. 이러한 기술력을 바탕으로 영화, 광고, K-POP VR 콘서트, 디지털 트윈 등 다양한 콘텐츠를 고효율로 제작하고 있으며, 이번 GITEX 참여를 통해 글로벌 파트너십 확대와 기술 수출의 가능성을 다시 한번 입증했다.

스튜디오이온은 이번 전시를 기점으로, 중동 현지 파트너들과의 실질적인 프로젝트 협업을 확대하고, 한국형 실감형 콘텐츠 기술의 글로벌 확산에 주력할 계획이다.

Studio EON, a 3D animation company specializing in AI and Unreal Engine–based production, has announced strategic agreements with global partners for expansion into the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region. This announcement follows the company's participation in GITEX GLOBAL 2025, held from October 13–17 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

GITEX GLOBAL is the MENA region’s largest ICT exhibition. The Korea Pavilion, organized by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), featured eight leading Korean digital content companies, including Studio EON.

'During the event, Studio EON signed MOUs with:

> Deep In Sight, a Korean startup specializing in AI-based 3D sensing technologies

> Katalyze, a Saudi-based investment firm focused on content and startup ecosystems

Through its partnership with Deep In Sight, Studio EON plans to collaborate on content development using 3D spatial scanning technology, including immersive content and other applications.

With Katalyze, Studio EON has agreed to pursue joint initiatives in business development and regional investment attraction, with Katalyze serving as Studio EON’s local strategic partner in the MENA region.

In addition to these MOUs, Studio EON held multiple meetings with regional stakeholders, including advertising agencies, game and VR content studios, and VCs.

The total estimated value of discussed collaborations reached approximately USD 23 million.

Studio EON is known for its hyper-realistic 3D content production pipeline, powered by AI and Unreal Engine. Its portfolio spans feature films, advertising, K-POP VR concerts, and digital twins. The company’s participation in GITEX once again demonstrated the global potential of its hybrid production technology and its readiness for international partnerships.

Moving forward, Studio EON plans to strengthen its practical collaborations with local partners in the Middle East and accelerate the global adoption of Korean immersive content technology.
